Fuel gelling up??

I recently picked up a 2006 f250 6.0l diesel. Truck has 23k miles on it. When driving at low speeds the truck has all the power in the world. When I step on it and get to about 3300 rpm the truck has trouble getting up to speed and goes no where. The bost gauge says their is 20 psi which is normal. This only happens when it is cold out about 20 degrees where I am. I took it to the dealer and they said nothing was wrong. They ran a diagnostic test and eveything was fine. My guess is the fuel is gelling up because its cold or my fuel filter is dirty? Let me know your guys input. Thanks alot

If your fuel gelled up you would still be sitting in your driveway. Just for your peace of mind you should change both fuel filters. Look in the Tech folder it will show you how. You can buy the filters cheaper at an International dealer. I buy two sets at a time. If I can change mine anyone can.

Your truck will only make about 20 lb boost until warmed up, then it should give you 26 or 27, ussually only in higher gears or pulling. Until its fully warmed it holds off to protect it. If you think you are gelling, treat fuel, change fuel filters would be a good idea. Dont use any biodiesel in winter either. It requires different treatments.

Yea It does it when the truck is warmed up. This is the second time it has done it. Only happens when its a little colder out. after I got it back from the dealer the truck was fine. If I buy the filters from diesel filters online does it come with both filters to change?

A good way to get the idea on the whole thing is to go WWW.POWERSTROKEHELP.COM Thats where I got my info after looking at the tech stuff on top. Good luck hope it works to fix the problem.
