I was thinking about trying to use tractor trailer air line to plum my shop. it comes in different sizes should I use 5/8 or 1/2

1/2 is.60 a foot
5/8 is 1.09 a foot
brass is $3 $4 a piece
with my discount

Definitely 5/8''.

More volume, less pressure drop.

Air tools would run more efficiently.
