My cd player in our 03 eddie bauer explorer reads cd error. CD player wont play or eject cds. Can this be repaired or cheaper to buy new radio?

 

We have the same problem with our '04. I am going to pull the fuse and see if that will reset it but I haven't taken time to do it. If anyone else has delt with this, any comments will surely help.

 

Well, it took me awhile but I finally got around to pulling the fuse. Pulled it several times and it still doesn't want to work. When you first put the fuse back in, it acts like it is trying but then it locks up and won't even try. Anybody have any other ideas????

 

pulled fuse for about 5 minutes. reinstalled it and cd player started working.

 

Well that's good. At least one of us got it working!

I pulled the fuse but didn't wait 5 min., I waited about 30 sec. and put it back. I read on another post to wait 5 min., I will try that tomorrow.
