front leaf question

how much space should i have between my bumpstops and my springs? i only have about 3" on each side. it seems kinda small

If I can find my 97 service manual I can look it up....but that sounds about right to me.

Thats about right. I had the same ? on my truck. The leaf almost looked bent up wards but 3 in is correct space..

I concure. I just replaced mine and I had about a 1/2 inch between the leafs and bump stops.
