It is looking good. You started out with just a frame or you're doing a frame off resto?

I need to hack my box like that too, both sides look like yours, and then the rear corners ar rotted out as well. Gonna have to do some patch up before the tailgate breaks loose on the one side, can see through it now... Gonna have to wait until I have the funds though. Did you overlap the patches, or you just not show the cutout for the patch panels to fit into? Sometime over the life of my truck, the driver's side must have been caved in, the flex marks are starting to show since the bondo is falling off, rusty underneath as usual...

Started out with just a frame. yes I cut out more than I showed in the pictures .

figured as much, but sometimes you never know... It's looking pretty good, sure takes plenty time and money to do that kind of thing. That's why I just try to take care of mine as good as I can until I can afford to get down and dirty with it and fix it correctly. I'm just trying to minimize the damage before I get to it.
