I only paid about 300 for my whole setup which included a 10" sub, box, amp, and wiring. I would look on Ebay if I were you.

again it depends what kind of listener you are, if somebody can get a setup for 300 and it suits them, go for it.

however if you're anything over easy listening, you will have to go OVER a simple sealed box with a single 10. or single 12. if you want a single sub setup, a ported box is the way to go.

also, don't always think a bigger sub is best, an 8w7 will kill most 10 inch woofers.

check out my gallery, you'll see what i'm talking about!

how is it a rip off? when i bought all my truck speakers and subs they gave me 25% off on my box, free wireing harnesses for the deck and speakers, a free 750w wiring kit for my amp, and lastly free ups shiping. When i called them and talked to them it paid off for me. If somthing didnt work or didnt fit i could send it back and have the option to get a diffrent one. It cost more than ebay but look at all the free stuff i got, and plus how many times can u send somthing back that you buy on ebay? IMO its way worth it

I'm just saying, if you know what you are doing, there are better options than crutchfield.

I have always got better deals at local car stereo stores. They are espcially nice to you when you arre a repeat customer.
