I have owned this F100 since 1994 or so, it's been out of service for a few years. I finally decided to put her back on the road this weekend and after some small stuff (fuel pump, carb rebuild, ps hoses, repaired trranny lines) she fired up and I took her for a ride.
I'm gonna have to get on the rust asap though
How 'bout that... Musicians on the Ford forum I've been playing guitar/bass since I was a kid, started out playing Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Judas Priest, Maiden etc. back in the 70s and 80s. Nowadays I'm in an acoustic duo, my wife and I do small gigs around the Ms Gulf Coast area, anything from classic rock/folk to Pink Floyd to Alison Krauss to Alan Jackson. As long as it's something I can pull off acoustically I'll try it.
I play bass every now and then, now more than ever (my bassplayer died in a car accident in November and I've been filling in here and there). I have a 1976 Ibanez "lawsuit" Ric 4001 copy.
i play a 87 charvel.with a peavey head and a 15 18 combo cab that i made all old school stuff.were in recording right now. cant wait to get back on the road again.i tried to post pictures but couldnt figure it out, i play bass with REBEL-SON.
We have a quite a few musicians here on the forums. I play guitar and mandolin (primarily). I play Celtic music in a regular once-a-week gig at a local Irish pub along with a fiddle player and play Bluegrass whenever I get the chance. I work as stage manager for a small local Bluegrass festival. I'm also a member of a San Francisco-area based nautical music band. Last season we played gigs all up and down the West coast, from San Diego to Portland. Here's a pic from the main page of our website, of us hamming it up for the camera: http://seadogs.org/FrontPage2008a.jpg
We've taken this a wee bit off-topic from talking about trucks, but I feel it's nice to socialize a little within the forum and get to know each other better so as long as we don't get carried away, I'll leave this thread here rather than move it to General Conversation.

Took this one in daylight, for some reason it looks better As stated in my other thread I've discovered a possible bent valve on number 4. I won't be able to get any tools on it for a while.
