I am looking forward to this upcoming camping season. Last years gas prices were too high so we didn't camp as much as we usually do but this year I hope things work out better. If I counted right, Memorial Day weekend is 119 days away(we leave on Thursday before Memorial Day) and I can't wait. For the last 25 years we have been going to Knoebels which is in Elysburg Pa. For those of you who have not heard of Knoebels, it is a campground and an amusement park, all on the same property. It is free to get in, parking is free and you buy tickets for the rides. See you there.
What a coincidence. I started a countdown too. Mine is at 1,459...Hopefully when it gets to zero, it won't reset to 1,460 and I'll have to count it down all over again.
As for the campground, sounds like a blast. Am in the market to get back into it myself and am waiting for the perfect deal on a travel trailer to find me.

I've been to Otter Lake before, it's a nice place. Friends of ours used to have a seasonal site there but have since moved to another campground. Senix, any good camping down in Maryland?

Not really any good places in md that I know of. Been to the KOA near Hagerstown but was not impressed.
Have gone to drummer boy in gettysburgs, that is close to me and that is decent.
Hey dualwheels66
If you ever get down this way aka Mrytle Beach area for some camping. Give me a shout. I know some really nice places....for all the family to enjoy.
fordmdb, I would love to get down to SC someday. I used to live near Spartanburg, then we moved to Columbia, now I'm back in Pa. I know a lot of people down there that I would like to see again, so I just might give you a shout.
fordmnb I am thinking about coming down to Myrtle sometime this year. I have found a couple of campgrounds on Kings Highway, Pirateland and Ocean Lakes. Have you been to these campgrounds? Or do you recommend something else. The idea of having ocean on one side and a fresh water lake on the other side is very appealing to me.
