Can't believe she started...
This morning is was -16 and -40 with wind chill and had doubts if the 79 would start. Three revolutions later and she fired but the lifters hammered for a good 20 seconds. I'm actually proud of her.
I get to see if my truck starts tomorrow, its supposed to be -3 with wind chills of -25. Hopefully the old '86 doesn't leave me stranded. That 460 is a lot of motor to turn over in the cold!

-16 and -3 would be so nice right now! tuesday morning was -29, last night was -38 and tonight its shootin for -28 (likely hit -30 or worse). Two weeks ago my 78 ranger 300-6 started at -20, (needless to say it wasnt happy about it). Heck at least im not at my dads place he had -44 last night and 40 miles NW of him they broke a record with -51. These are AIR temps. Good times, finally gettin as cold as it used when i was a kid!
