Kickdown Rod

1967 F100 - 6 cyl. 240

We are changing the old 3 speed on the column to an automatic C4, floor shift.
My question is - Does anyone have any pictures of the kickdown rod and how it connects to the tranny and Carb (1 bl carb). Are there any brackets that need to be made?

We have been searching the forum and come to the conclusion that we will have to somehow fab a rod. There was one post from 2006 that someone was going to get a tracing of the rod and explain how they were going to make one but, there was not follow up posts.

Any help or pics (drawings) would be a life saver.
I'm sure others on this forum would benifit too.

Thanks,

Mike

C9TZ7A187C .. Kickdown Rod / 20" long / 1/2" O.D. / Obsolete

GREEN SALES CO. in Cincinnato OH has ONE = 800-543-4959

No Ford Dealer, or other obsolete parts vendor has any.

Fits: 1965/69 F100/250 240/300 w/a C4.

Thanks for the quick reply. Before I call I have a question....

I have been given C7TZA187A as the kickdown for a 1967. Te one at Green, is C9TZ7A187C. Would you know if that would work with a 240 and C4.

Thanks,

Mike
