Anybody know what bulbs they are...and are they available anywhere in different colors? When we travel in big blue it's usually at night and some softer light would come in handy when the wife and kids are sleeping.

I took one out earlier tonight, but I couldn't find any identifying marks. Looks more like a fuse than a light bulb

 

An old trick is to use the red tail light repair tape to color the lens. The red doesn't effect night vision as badly as many other colors do, plus it's a pretty cheap and easy mod.

 

The dome light is a 912 bulb.

I got some LEDs from v-leds.com and they work great... pretty sure you can get red there. I got the white ones and like them.

Best thing is, they don't get hot and melt the lens cover!
