I have an invisible lense cover. It functions similar to the after market clear lense except you can't see it.

Thank you so much...I will finally be able to see again after dark; I did order a LED one from Amazon but they are saying it is 2 weeks out for delivery so, in the meantime, I guess I need a OEM replacement incandescent..

and it worked fine...I thought I had a problem when I put the lamp in and it wouldn't shut off no mater what I did to the headlight switch...then dummy remembered to close the doors and, viola, it works like it should (been so long since I had a light I was confused)
