I always have this little feeling deep in the back of my head that this truck is gonna break somehow and let me down and be expensive to fix. I never worried about my ranger, I guess cause I bought it new and knew what it had been thru. I bought this one used and ya never know what little problems are lurking about waiting to become big ones. This is also my first diesel so its hard for me to tell what might be normal diesel stuff/sounds and what might be a problem surfacing. I know if it ever does break yall are here to help me fix it.
Yes but my 97 is like a favored grandchild. The 2000 I drive every day is dirty, dented and fixed only when broke. The 97 is rode easily, rubbed down and put away dry.
ROAD SALT? You have got to be kidding!!! It has not been on the road since sometime before Christmas. That is what the 2000 SD is for.
97 is inside the warm shop, 2000 is in the driveway
Ya only becuase I like to run my mouth about how reliable the 7.3L is and I just have that feeling that it will call me a liar someday but deep deep down inside I know its a great truck.
I don't fix anything so I always have something wrong. Wipers don't work, leaks antifreeze, rear leaks, brake lines are all corroded. Has 200,000 mi on it. Guess I'll go for a ride.
