What is this part called?
Hi all!

I seem to have broken something.


The lower pin that holds the steering knuckle to the axle broke and snapped the end of the axle shaft off in the process. Is that the king pin or is there another name for it?

Kevin:

That Dana 44 axle has broken the " lower ball joint".
Only the D60 from this era had king pins, yours has ball joints.

Sorry. 4WD. And yes, the ball joint is it. Thanks. I was drawing a total blank, but now that you said that, I feel like a tard. Duh!
