Asking those kind of questions will get you shot around here. LOL! j/k man
I don't have much experience swapping engines, let alone from one manufactuer to another. I can give you some basics from what I know but nothing specific. As far as dimensions, radiator relocation, tranny crossmember relocation etc... What engine is in the F150 right now? 5.4 I'm assuming?
The fact alone that the truck won't be FI will be a big time saver. Swap over to a mechanical fuel pump or purchase an electric fuel pump designed for carburetors.
I'd imagine too you'd need to make new engine mounts. Make them yourself, have someone make them for you. Never seen anyone who makes Chevy Swap kits into F150's
What model is the Chevy tranny? TH700R4? You'll probably need to do some machining to the driveshaft or have a custom new one made whether it'd be longer or shorter than the stock driveshaft.

I don't really see any benefits here. First off, switching from FI to carb is a downgrade, especially for racing. And before you say that Nascar doesn't use FI, thats because it is against the rules. The finer fuel control of fuel injection makes for more power. Seems to me it would be easier, probably cheaper, and more rewarding to modify the 5.4L, you know, racing cams, large bore and/or stroke, performance exhaust, etc. The 350, especially a carbed one, is a dog in comparison, I hope you are at least running a Vortec.

DAMN,,,,,Atleast put a FORD engine in the truck !!!! S#%t like that really pi$$'s me off !
If you have a Ford,,keep it all Ford !
If your a BOWTIE fan,,,,,then stick that 350 up your own,,,,,,,,,,engine bay !!
Someday,,We would love to do a " POWERED BY FORD" ,,,Camaro or Chevelle,,,to hit the streets with one would surely make some,,and it would be GREAT !
You can get a FORD crate engine just a easy as that Bowtie engine !

Mustangs with rat motors just frost my B@!!$.....
I believe the best way to use that Chevy motor would be to put a Silverado under it

and i dont think that the 5.4L can get 300 horsepower and 350 torque

All of the 350s I have drove are fairly slow esp. if they arent the vortec 350.
Anyway it would take alot of money to swap it over. Something to keep in mind is that none of the gauges would work properly with that motor. So factor in the price for custom tuning for the computer, plus a bunch of other stuff.
If you dont think the 5.4 can make some power, swap in a 4V 5.4 and get a custom tune done on it, you wont be disappointed.

tell me what u think
but i do have a chevy 454 big block wit 600 hp and 650 torque
but i dont think that will fit and spend 600 on that to change the cams to get to pass inspection and lose 50 hp about and put that in wit the race tranny and spend 2k gettin it to fit and set up the computer and its already fuel injected

To accomplish what you are describing you would have to be very determined and also very mechanically inclined. The job would require fabrication upon many levels including wiring ,cooling , exhaust, mounting and more than likely you would also be swapping in a chevy trans to match. Unexpected incompatabilitys would occure and it would be easy to spend a couple thousand making the small details work. I would expect the end result probably would fail all mandatory emmissions tests required every couple years. In my state(Illinois)the vehicle would be required to have a working MIL light , along with a properly working computer system, and without that, the vehicle could get your drivers license suspended, along with the license plates, making such a vehicle off road only. The easiest way to repair the truck would be to get a similar engine in size and year to what you are working with, and later build a say 60s car which is emissions exempt to whatever your heart(and wallet) can afford. Also, consider the worth of such a custom truck when it is professionally finished, the resale would be quite low.
