My friend has an 01" Excursion V-10.
When driving it the rpms get around 1500 he gets shutter and or shake between 1500 and 2000 rpms it shakes the whole truck. When he gets it above 2000 the shutter goes away. No check lights or nothing. It doesn't do it all of the time but for most of the time. no noises or anything. He says it does it more when it is raining. Bad COPS? please advise.
I'd take a spray bottle and pop the hood in a dark area and spray a lil water around the coilpacks. Any spark leakage will be probably show itself at this point. Your alternative is poking a bare hand around the coils/boots and when you yank your arm out and start cursing you found the leaky coil/boot.
This is assuming its a bad coil/boot which it likely is. Seems it is quite common for the gassers to have issues with them.

Usually any type of shaking like Deebo described is usually related to the COPs. Most V10 owners just replace all of them including the plugs if it's financially feasable. If not, just grab one and try it until you find the problem child.
