What happened to the Banks sticker, one of the diehard Banks salesman tear it off . Surely it didn't go the way of the DP-Tuner sticker

As stated MBRP or MKO is the best bang for the buck.

Would you freeze your butt off in Omaha and do the job by yourself or drive to Des Moines and do the job in a warm shop with a buddies help?
Drive to Des Moines! I just replaced my carrier bearing and all 3 rear drive shaft u-joints in the cold.

Would I just remove the turbo and be able to access the donuts from there?

Thanks, Mike.
I bought a set of donuts from one of the site supporters here (can't remember now which one) for like $30 shipped. They're still sitting in my garage. I'm seeing a little soot on my up-pipes, but I'm still making 30 psi on my 1.15 A/R van turbo, so it's not a HUGE deal just yet.

My Dad's got an '06 D-Max and spoke with the Banks people last time we were at a truck show. They said that their stuff worked best on the D-Max. I'm not sure about the Cummins guys, but I've seen very few Powerstrokes running Banks (mostly college looking kids spending mom and dad's money) and have not heard or read anything spectacular about them for our trucks. Some is negative, and most of it refers to it being overpriced for the results. There are too many other good companies and products out there with more bang for buck.

Yea a couple years back, my Dad put some kinda mild Banks crap chip in his early 99 and it is nothing compared to the DP and he spent more for that than you would on a DP. They are ridiculous.

I found a Magnaflow kit at a good price. It's a real nice piece for the price. I was surprised to have no issues with it for the price.

I ended up ordering the MBRP single turbo back exhaust and its going on this weekend!!

I was told by somebody else that my up-pipes are leaking which happens to be the same guy who told me my front crank shaft oil seal was leaking when it was my CPS o-ring. I want to check the up-pipes myself. What is the best way to go about doing this? I tried looking from under the truck but I couldn't see a d@#n thing from under there.

Also, if my up-pipes are bad, I'm just going to replace the donuts this time due to spending too much money eslewhere right now. Where do I get the donuts and how do I do it?

Thanks, Mike.

Stock Muffler Delete vs 4" Turbo Back

Will a 4" exhaust damage my EBPV or EBPS? I would just like to remove the stock muffler but I kept reading that installing a 4" system is better. Stock Muffler delete $65 + labor vs. 4" turbo back $375 + labor?

4" exhaust is better if you plan on adding power down the road or tow often but a muffler/cat delete is a good start if $ is tight right now. No damage to anything by installing a 4" system. Labor cost? Just do it yourself, its easy sleazy (unless you buy Diamond Eye duals like I did...)
