did the ps pump flush
I used mobil 1 synthetic atf, pumped 4 1/2 quarts through the system... still have an annoying growlling/whine while appying brakes or steering at low speed.

Does your pump still work ok? I still have noise in mine after flushing the system. I was told if flushing didn't fix the noise the only solution is a new pump. Mine still works good, so I put up with the noise for now. If it starts getting weak I will have to change it.

Did it reduce the noise at all? My Ranger's PS pump made noise for the 5 years I owned it, and I never had an issue with it. I new about the syn trick, but never tried it until I got this truck. And it did quiet it down...
