Code Reader?

Is the code reader for a 1990 F150 under the dash on the driver's side? And is it a straight 6 pin style?

I don't seem to have a correct adapter for my reader if it is...

thanx

You don't even need a code scanner. A paper clip and a pencil and paper is all you need.
