Broken Gear Shift
I've lost the ability to take my F150 out of park. Probably happens to other Fords, but it seems like the mechanism that releases requires the brake to be engaged to take it out of park isn't working. I have to reach under the dash and flip a small lever to get the car in gear now.
Does anybody know an easy rememdy for this?

usually a blown fuse-do you have brake lights? i
have seen a bad connection at brake light switch.
don't know what lever you're talking about, but it
can be gotten out of park by turning key to off-one click past lock-putting into neutral before turning key to on or start.
