202 hp 350 tq I think, but all engines from 1978 were very weak. If you want more power ditch the terrible autolite 4350 carb and install pre 1972 timing set, the factory cam timing in 78 was retarded several degrees. And I think a 1978 car 460 only has 7.5 to 1 compression which is not ideal for good torque.
Thanks for that. As for the carb, as of right now it has a 750 Edelbrock on it, But I wasn't sure if the 750 was to big for it really...If I should go to a 600 or not. Personally my favorite carb would be a QudraJet, I can tune them pretty good, and I've always had great running engines with them.
I plain on replacing all the gaskets, so when I do that I was going to replace the timing set as well to a Pre 72'...Will this change be noticeable ?

It'll make a big difference. That and a distributor recurve per Scott Johnston at www.reincarnation.com will really wake up your 460. 460s do like bigger carbs. The stock intake is good for bottem end power production.
Any chance you can get yourself some headers? BBFs respond really well to those too.
