How long did it take for them to fix the problem? My 08 diesel started doing the "chirping" sound two weeks after I got it (5 Nov 08) and coincidentally just about cold season. I thought it was the serpentine belt and tried the belt dressing but that didn't work.
Then I found TSB here. Faxed the dealership yesterday and should hear something on Monday.
They had my truck for 3 days. The first 2 days they didn't seem to know what was wrong. Then I gave them the TSB# and then it only took them a couple of hours to fix. I've driven mine a couple of times since the fix and so far no more belt noise. I hope you can get yours resolved.
