just want to start with HAPPY NEWYEAR!! everyone.well im new to this site and well i need help with my project. i have a 1973 ford f100 that i converted over to fuel injection.i took the complete harnesss out and replaced it with a complete hardness out of a 1994 ford f150 5.0.well i hook up everything just how it was on the 94 .i made the 3 big rectangle cuts on the fire wall for the wires to go tru.but heres my problem when i turn on the switch it wont start nor does the fuel pump turn on.i check all the fuses under the hood and the fuses under the dash and they are good and got power.the lights work, blinkers brake lights. im using the switch bock that unbolts at the steering column of the 94.i will appreciate any hints or thoughts to solve my problem.i will try to post pics tomorrow
There is an inertia switch on a 94, did you bring that forward (or do you have one) ? I am going thru something like this, and electrical diagrams might be needed. Looks like in my case have a dead incoming line to fuse box for EEC relay (my light doesn't come on when key on - engine light) ..... not sure if it helps
i checked the relays and they are good. it wont turn over and yes the donor truck had dual tanks.i hooked the gas tank switch and the starter is new so i dont know what to do. the donor was a runner,i drove it home before taking it apart
