Ok, I posted some questions probably 2 weeks ago, and found some more detailed electrical schematics. Appears that I have a problem with a hot wire going into fusebox (relay) for the EEC (not working) - same hot wire goes to fuel relay - works there. My truck is a 1994 F150 4 wd. Anyways it appears I need to remove or flip this fuse panel (network box) to find out what is wrong with the wiring. Just wondering if anyone has done it - is it easily done ? Seems like it's pretty well intact right there as it is .... So, hoping that I have finally narrowed it down - thanks to others encouragement .... Thoughts ?
Yes, this was exactly the problem. Hot wire for the ECM relay corroded (broken). Can't get it to release from the box, but at least I know what the problem is. If all else fails could drill it out and fish up a wire and connector. Not sure if the dealer will sell me the proper connector, and a small wire splice ?
