Radio Wiring

I got a Jeep radio for a box I built for my UPS truck and it has no plug in the back. The wiring diagram is on the back. I see it has speaker feed and speaker return. Is the feed the positive and return the negative?
Thanks

Not really. Speakers use AC current. If you want to think of it as +/- you can, but it's not accurate. In your UPS truck you probably will not be able to hear if the speakers are out of phase so it's not going to be a big deal if you do wire the speakers wrong. Use the feed as the + on the speakers and you should have the right phase.

Just a cool trick, The + side on the speaker means if positive DC current is applied, the speaker will move away from the magnet. I've read not to use more than 1.5v but, up to 9v should be fine. To test the speakers for polarity, put the battery on the two wires, when you have the Pos battery on the pos lead, the speaker will move forward. Only tap the leads, don't hold them on the battery.
