Carb Part #

I need to get a carb kit for my carb.I have a 1970 F-100 with a 302 V8 and a C6 transmission.I found a metal tag on the carb that has AUTOLITE DOUF C.The F could be a F or E its hard to tell.Underneath it it has the numbers R9J11.The R could be a R or B.This is a 2BBL carb. Are these the right #'s or are they on the carb itself somewhere?

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!! James

The metal tag you've found, along with the numbers on it, should be all you need when you go to the parts store. Have the parts salesperson check for kits specifying either a number of DOUF C or DOUE C, just to make sure. I'm no carb tag expert, but the original Autolite 2BBL carburetor off of my '70 351C has a tag which reads DOOF V. I have purchased numerous parts for this carburetor using only the five-letter code from the tag.
