Maybe he means wheelbase?
If so the wheelbase for a regular cab short bed for 95 is 116.8 inches. It should be the same for the 80's models.
Otherwise, I think he may be asking what the track width is between the front wheels and between the back wheels from side side. I don't have this measurement. I'm also not sure if this measurement is taken from the wheels or the tires.

I mean wheel track, as you described in the latter part of your post. 
I think it's taken from the wheels. It's important as I'm about to have a Jaguar front end grafted onto my truck's frame, which has a shorter distance between the wheel hubs, so I will need wheels with a more negative offset to maintain the wheel track for road legal requirements (we're very strict on that here...)

so you want someone to measure say, outside tread to outside tread on the front and rear? I'd do it for you but I have a dually. Does your jag front end need to be the same as the rear end thats in there now? I'm still confused, maybe the whole story of your project would help.
