non airbag clock spring
So I swapped out the the upper column housing on my 93 f150 couple days ago and purchased a click spring to fix the fact I had no horn (worked before the bearing went out). To my luck the click spring is not the one for my vehicle. On the back if the steering wheel there is a contact plate with three tracks on it. On the column housing is three prongs that contact the track on the back of the steering wheel. When I contact the bottom prong and the colum simultaneously the horn works. But with the steering wheel, the bottom & cruise control do not work. What should I be looking at to fix it?
