This is funny. I drive in the snow because I have to not because it's fun. If thats the case I "wheel" my eagle talon almost everyday on the way to work. That car has gone through alot.
Snow wheelin is the BEST!
...as long as your heater works.
I went to the peak at Capital Forest a few weeks back. Lots of snow, sadly I only take pictures when my truck is stopped. And most of the time its when i'm stuck. I slid into ditches alot. Some jackass' drivers think that they own the trails.
Especially those losers in the Subi's.
"Yeah man, my wagon can go anywhere your big truck can go.."
But if my big truck didnt get out of the way you'd be screwed. Those subaru's work great when they get up to 60mph before they hit any snow.
I've got a cheap digital camera I keep in my glove box now so hopefully i'll start posting more low quality wheeling pictures and videos!
I can see why. What happened to the truck? What were the specs?
95....13 inches of custom lift....sas.....stock motor, 4.10's, eaton in the rear......she's now residing somewhere on the east coast...when i sold it i refused to see it driving around, so i sold it to someone out east and had it shipped...
someone came along with one of those avalanche things but it was enough of a tug to get me moving then i drove right on out
My blue ford gets itsself out. Or at least it has so far. And ive buried that thing pretty good and a 400 and bald BFGs aint failed me much this season. Next week when I get new wheels and tires ill be unstoppable. Oh and did i mention im stock?
70% of offroading is driver.

More than 70% in the snow, snow can pull crazy tricks on you. and whats underneath can get even crazier, if your not familiar with the area you better be able to read the snow...
My '89 is bone stock 2x4 but with yall's guidance it's gonna be slower after the conversion hopefully I'm in Ft. Worth so I'll roll it like it is and cut the wind for ya haha.

hmmm...i did a 180 down the road at 50-60km/h into the ditch on the opposite side so 3 of my tires were in snow as high as them and really hard plus packed around 3 sides of those 3 tires...my 4th tire was in the air...i had absolutely not tracks or anything plus my t-case is screwed to the point i basically have no 4wd...i probly would have gotten er out sooner or later...ive done it before but my t-case dont need to get any worse it will be fixed in a week then it serious snow plowin time
my lil truck makes it through some scary stuff in 2wd to boot
