351 Y-PIPE HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have an 87 F-250 with a 351 no cat from factory. Problem is the guy at the exhaust shop said my y-pipe has two 2" pipes going into one single 2.25" pipe. I bought a set of shorty headers for the truck which the flanges are larger. What I am looking for is 2.25 in from headers to a single 3" so I can complete my exhaust. Thanks in advance if anyone has any clue where I could buy such a part.

If I was you I'd take it to the exhaust shop and have them fab up a dual exhaust.

i just cut the muffler off ran duals off from the 2 factory cats into 3 inch tips. sounds will deep and clean. i love it. cost me 100 bucks.

The exhaust shop should be able to make you a suitable y-pipe. If they can't, find another exhaust shop.

The y-pipe that I used on my 351w have 2 - 2.25" into 1 - 2.5". It was made by Maremont. I don't remember the number, if you want the number let me know, and I will look for it. It does not have a catalytic convertor.
