Long story short. I had a leak in my Magnafine filter and it all went to hell from there.
I did the initial install in late July and it has worked well until the leak. Now I cavitated the pump once when bleeding it and got foam in there. Now the system keeps getting foamy even with more bleeding and the power steering comes and goes with a bunch of noise and bouncing on the brake pedal.
I flipped the filter around just incase I was being dumb and put it on backwards with the same problems occuring.
I plan on bleeding the system again, but I really don't want to buy another $20 worth of ATF That money is better spent on Keystone...
Any other tips are greatly appreciated (so long as you don't tell me to replace the PS pump AGAIN...I don't want to do it a third time...)
What do you know about Hydroboosts??? That is what the Ford tech is pointing towards.
Is the cooler plugged??? I did get poor flow IMO from that. The hose didn't even flow full. I may blow air through that.

When I did the pump the first time the directions on the net said to jack the front end up, pull the return line off, and turn the wheel lock to lock while keeping the res. full. This will flush the system and purge the air from the system.
I have a feeling the foamy/aerated ATF is causing an air lock somewhere in the system.
I had a similar issue with foam when i replaced my steering gearbox. Have you been turning the wheels left to right while working the brake pedal? That cleared up my problems...
Scott- About eight years ago or so I read on another forum that you should turn the wheels all the way one night and park it. Turn it the other way the next night and park it. Not sure if it will work since the fluid is being pumped all through the system, but it's free and might help. The other thing to try is to rig some sort of mighty vac or vacuum source to the cap and try to pull the air bubbles from the fluid that way...
I appreciate the help guys. I did try turning and pumping, both moving and stationary. I will try the overnight thing and another bleeding when I get the chance.
Thanks again and keep the ideas coming!!!
