Rattle in passenger side dash...
has anyone experienced an extremely annoying rattle in the passenger side dash...i have a '98 f-150 supercab flareside 4x2 that has just developed this problem, when i apply pressure to the dash, the rattle stops. also, does anyone know if this is covered under the factory warranty?

Yes I had that little rattle. I fixed it myself by dropping the glove box forward beyond the stops.It turns out the wiring harness was just a little out of place. I repositioned the wiring harness and havent had another problem.

Rattle in passenger side dash...
I had the exact same rattle in my late model 1997 Ext. cab F-250 styleside. It also went away when you put pressure on the top of the dash. I took it back to the Ford dealer and made them test drive it with me in the truck to show them exactly where the rattle was. They had to open the pass side air bag and resecure a harness that was on top of the air bag and was causing the rattle just under the top of the dash. I really hope this helps you. It was driving me crazy until they finally fixed it.
