How's business for you? It's going pretty slow for me...
I've got one big house in concord thats almost finished and trying to get a contract on another in Kannapolis. buisness has been slow but I've stayed busy.
Stay as far as you can away from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg school system. Go towards the Lincoln Co. area of Lake Norman. Or Maybe even Denver though it is growing fast as well. I live in Huntersville just north of Charlotte and I hate to see my kids growing up but at least they are out of that school system.
Busing kids all the way from center city Charlotte all the way out to the north end of the county is stupid. Kids are on buses until 6 and 7 at night in some cases.
clint
I'm in Lincoln County, 'bout 5 miles south of Denver. Clint's right, it's growing fast here. It's the last side of the lake to be extensively developed and they're going at it hot & heavy. It's still a long way from being as congested as Huntersville or Mooresville though. It's all neighborhood schools here with some new ones just built. I like it here even though it is building in a hurry. You can live in as flashy a neighborhood as you want, somewhere on Lake Norman.
