Toby Keith does like Ford :)

To make a longer story even longer.....On Christmas Day (cold with a stiff Northly wind), I was up visiting the folks (both in-laws and parents live in Norman, Ok) and talk shifted to the location of OU head football Coach Bob Stoops' new house. I had a glimpse of it this summer, while scounting fishing locations on a little river that feeds into the local lake in Norman, Ok.

My Ford Truck (01' 4x4 Expedition with 196,000 miles) was loaded with hunting and fishing gear, So my wife (Architect -reason for them wanting to view the construction) and her mother (former receptionist in the Architecture program at OU) piled into her Ford Truck (02 EB Expedition 136K) and headed over to view the coaches house. --I like the ride and feel of my MAN truck better---.

On the way back, we drove by Toby Keith's Estate. My mother-in-law has friends that live in the area, and her friends reported that everyone just loves this guy. Great Neighbor, and reported to be very friendly and actually vists the neighbors. They watch over his estate while he is on tour (since his father passed away).

Nice place, from the front gates, but I couldn't see if the "Ford Truck Man's" house to determine if he had any Chevy or Dodge vehicles in the area.

I normally listen to Talk radio, but while Duck hunting, my parents had an outdoor radio (to ward off thieves and trespassing) on a C&W station which was playing a lot of Mr. Keith's music. I found that I actually like his music, and I hadn't purchased anything Country since Garth Brooks back in the early 90's (I may just run out today and purchase A Toby Keith CD).

Today I checked out his Estate on Google (looks like all, or at least mostly Ford Trucks to me ). At least there are no foreign Exotics on his estate.

35' 16.338' North
97' 23.574' West

He even has an "OU" in his Hot Tub .

Gotta like this guy..

I've see him in concert three times. He's very consistent in that he loves America and Ford trucks.
