Lifting Dually

I was looking around at sites for a lift kit for my dually (Just bought an 2001 CC LB 4x4 DRW 6-Speed) I wanted to know if I can use a lift kit from a SRW F-350 or will that not work. Tried the search could not find what I was looking for Thanks.

Lifted duallys are SICK!!!! I'm not a fan of the HUGE lifts.
4" looks tight!

Only difference is the rear u-bolts used. Dana 80 axle tubes on the DRW are larger diameter and need larger u-bolts.

If youre going to lift it, and it's a superduty with leaf springs, Icon Vehicle Dynamics is the only way to go. Used to be Donahoe.

I should add that all the ones on our site in the DRW link that I posted already come with the correct size rear u-bolts.

It depends on the truck and the ammount of lift that you put on a dually to make it look good I have seen some great ones but I have seen some butt ugly ones too. Also you will probably lose some of your maximum load capability.

Lol yeah I know what you mean there are some ugly ones, Plus I don't really mind loosing some of my load capacity cause I never use it to haul anything.

Heres my inspiration lol.

Load capacity will depend on the method in which the rear is lifted.

You can go to a 8-10" lift and still keep your stock load capacity in the rear if you use One Up Offroad Traction Blocks in the rear.

Pretty sure that's a 4.5" Icon (or 5.5") since it's an 05-07.

He's running 22s with 36.5" BFG MTs

Yep, 6" should clear that tire/wheel combo.
May have to trim the lower valance of the front bumper a little or shim the bumper if you run a stock bumper.
