Help! I am installing a 302 into a 68 F-100 2wd. So far it appears that none of the mftrs have a reference to that year, probably because a 302 wasn't in a F-100 at the time?
I have installed some "blockhuggers", however they interfere with the starter. I am looking to go with regulars to clear the block and starter.
Which mftr would make one that does that and clear everything else?
According to my sources no 302 in 1968 offered in the F-series. First year appears to be 1969. The trucks will all be the same through 72. You can feel comfortable using any of those later years when you order your parts, but the header manufacturer's should all show 69 and later anyway. I hope this helps.
