Well the other day my muffler done blowed off so here I sit trying to figure out what kinda of muffler system i want to put on and I'm open for suggestions , I would like it to sound like its gotta pair.
P.s. I looked underneath and my truck (93 f-150 302) has back to back cats what the heck is up with that. Can I take those off with out screwing things up.

I also own a 93. There is only 1 cat. after the pipes come out of the manifolds they join at the collector and single pipe into the convertor and then into the muffler.
I had dual's put on w/o a muffler and it sounds good. I too would love to ditch the convertor, BUT. There is one heck of a fine when they find you dont have one!

I have a 93 f150 with a 5.0 V8, it has pinged since day one. I have tried different fuels to no avail. I also saw a service report descibing a ping that suggested a new distributor. I replaced dist. and module but it pings as bad as ever. Any suggestions?
