Gas Mileage

I have a 99 F150, approximatly 6 mo old, with a 5.4 V8. Am looking for suggestions for increasing the gas mileage. After market products or any other suggestions are welcome!

Low restriction cat-back exhaust system will help. As will a low restriction K&N or Airaid kit.
Don't expect miracles though, the change will be there, but not huge.

I think that you will find that 13-16 MPG will be your limit no matter what you do. I have driven mine easy and then the next tank a little more aggressive and there is a small change after 25 gallons. I have read alot of the discussion messages and no one has found a miracle cure for the low MPG that a pickup delivers. My friends Toyota Pickup 4WD only gets 18 MPG and I can fit that in the back of my truck. I have just conceded to the fact that 15 is a good average without spending hundreds to improve 1 MPG.
