Was just wondering how some of you guys grease your upper ball joints on a 4x4. I just had grease-able ball joints put in about 5k ago. No matter what I use, I can't get a grease gun over the zerk fitting. What are some tricks your guys do?

It is the third picture up from the bottom of the page, right above the 2 grease guns. This adapter allows you to grease a fitting with the adapter being at 90 degrees to the fitting. Let's say your upper BJ fitting hangs straight down (which it probably does). This adapter will slide on it from either forward or rearward of the knuckle and the fitting will lock into the adapter. You then plug your grease gun into the opposite end of the adapter and grease it up. Look at the picture on the page I put a link to. Click on the small print under the picture that says "new Lincoln special access coupler flyer", and you can visualize how it works. To find one for sale, just Google lincoln 5883. There are plenty of places that sell it.
I put Moog brand on mine a few months ago, and they came with plugs and 90 degree zerks. The PITA is that the 90 degree zerks won't clear the u-joints on the drive shafts. When they need to be greased, I remove the plugs, install the 90 degree zerks, and then put the plugs back when I am done.

My NAPA's also came with 90 degree fittings and plugs, and the fittings would not clear. A second on the bench grinder solved the problem ... my 90 degrees fittings clear.
