On my mom's PC (Compac running XP), if I try to pull up Task Manager using Ctrl-Alt-Del, the first time I do it I get the Windows Security screen, pick on Task Manager and it will go to the Processes screen. The problem, all I get is the window with the list of running processes. I don't get any of the other tabs or the normal window with the "X" box or any of the pulldown menu's at the top. The only way to close the window is to find taskmgr in the list and click on "End Process". After that, if I Ctrl-Alt-Del it goes straight to the same Processes screen. I can't figure out how to get it right.
You know what's funny, I thought of posting the question here and never once thought of doing a Google search. Shows which source I rely on more, doesn't it?
