Coil springs

I have an '84 F-150 4X4 and my coil springs are worn out. Does anyone know where to get these without going to the dealer? My truck only has 122,000 miles on it, is this about the normal life expectancy for the factory springs? Thanks for your help.

Had the same problem with my '87 F-150 4X4 at about 115,00. Got new springs at the local NAPA. If I remember right, around $100 for the set. Not positive though. Hope this helps.

You can get them from wrenchead.com, carparts.com, Advanced, Autozone, NAPA. I was told that you should stick to either Eibach's or Moog's. I got a set of Moog's for my '77 Camaro for about $70.

Coil springs

i replaced mine with rough country 1 1/2 lift springs, these level the front with the rear of the truck i've had them for 6 mos and had no problems. they have a web site also, but i think you have to order by phone. if i remember right they were around $120.
