Code Scanner needed.
Need a code scanner. Which one have people here had success with.
Truck broke down and would rather scan it my self if possible.
thanks for any information.
Truck had loss of power 2 miles from house and died. Towed it back home and changed out cps unit and still won't start. I'm thinking Injection Pressure Regulator , but don't want to waste money and time on trial and error replacing parts.

hey txracer where are ya from? if your near the new jersey area id be happy to lend ya mine. are you getting fuel pressure? there is a shcrader valve on the drivers side of the fuel pressure regulator. also are you getting white smoke and/or tach movement while cranking?

Thanks for the info. Got home from running errand and my mother-in-laws car won't start now. Had to tow home with my Grand Prix. Now I have 2 cars that are not running.

I still want to get AE for more in depth diagnostic and for use at work. If you don't have a laptop go with the scangauge

The cheapest place I've found to get the AE is from Dennis AutoEnginuity PC Scan Tool (USB)
If you're not in a hurry, I'm gonna be in Houston either next week, or the week after. I'll have my AE with me. If you haven't got it figured out by then, I'd be happy to scan it for you.
