the little metal hooks. Sometimes in the bottom back of the seat or in the folding area of the seat. Newer way of locking the child seat in better than the seat belt from the vehicle.
Ok I think the expy 3rd seat has it, it's a metal bracket with 1/4" X 1" slot. It's dark here I will take a pic tomorrow.
Does the expy seat replacement have the child seat anchors in them?
In the pic I posted above #11 post ( lower left ) you can see on the right hand side there is a nylon strap attached to the loop, is that what your talking about. Sorry my youngest is 16 years old so I don't use child seats.

That could be it. I guess depending on what year the vehicle it is might be way the hooks are metal now. The wife's last two vehicle ecape, and edge both had metal ones right at the fold of the seat for the straps on the car seat. The edge had a hook on the rear of the seat for the single over the back strap, but the escape had the hook on the headliner in the cargo area. Just curious thanks for the info and pics. Nice to know down the road for seat replacement
