Another new guy. From Ont. Canada
I've got a 1949 M-47 Mercury pickup. Orignally a Western Canada truck. Good solid truck and most parts were on it. Some of the trim that was missing I already had from looking for parts for a 1948 M-47 that I traded to get this '49 M-47. I'm no computer guy but hope to be able to bumble my way around. My thanks ahead of time for any help you can provide.
Any other Merc truck guys frequenting this site ?
Greg M-47
Most of not all answers are in the 1948 - 1960 F1, F100 And Larger F-Series Trucks forum: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum41/

The best old trucks come from the western side of Canada. Sure is nice to be able to undue nuts and bolts instead of cutting and grinding them off. I've only had a few so far that I had to drill or cut. Way better than the normal rust buckets that are around here. Thanks for the info.
