2004 F250 SD Diesel am looking add the over head info console. Have found some parts on ebay but has anyone done this? Any help would be greatly apprieciated.
Some folks have but to get it fully functional you'll need the outside ambient air thermometer, too. It goes behind the grill, in front of the radiator and to the right as you're looking at it. The harness may be there.
You might wanna consider a Scan Gauge II. They are cheaper and give you more displays than you can shake a stick at. Whereas the OEM gives you MPG & Distance To Empty, the SCII takes it new levels allowing you to monitor tranny & other temps, every conceivable MPG display and a ton of other stuff. It doesn't tell you which direction you're going or what the temp is outside but really?...does anyone need that?
Roll down your window to see how warm or cold it is and look at either the sun or your GPS to determine your direction.
