NE January Chat thread

I heard that this was where all the action is today...where are you hiding it???
My fellow chapter members:
It was a cold and snowy day, November 8, 2001. Who would have known that
date would forever alter my destiny? It was on that fateful day, I stumbled
upon the FTE website...most likely because I had just broken something on my
old pickup and left the garage in frustration!
Now, 8 years later, I'm older, unfortunately fatter (but I'm working on changing that),
and maybe wiser, but probably not, and now sit at the astronomical post
count of 2300. I owe it all to you, my fellow post ho's...
But, in honor of this special occasion, I want to especially thank Pat,
our fearless leader who refuses to let me out of the Nebraska Chapter even
though I've moved 15 miles out of Nebraska, and would love to forget that I
ever lived in Omaha. I'd also like to thank Dallas for his constant harassing
of my chosen football team (who just so happen to be very good - nanny nanny boo boo!),
without that, I'm sure my post count would be much less.
And to everyone else: Jerry, Randy (x 2), Jake, Kenny, Chrissy, Jeff, Neil, Sean, Ken,
Gary, and the many others who's names I can't remember...
all of you wonderful, wonderful, chatter-boxes...
I couldn't have done it without you. Please, keep up the good work of making
me look good!!!
Long live FTE and the Nebraska Chapter!!!!!
(thank you, thank you, hold your applause, thank you.... )
I bet he does what he did at 1,000.....got us all ready, then didn't post for about an hour....sneaky,that Rob is...
more on the proportions that one eats at a sitting. that is where I cut back. another think to try is use smaller plates, a person tends to want to fill up there plate, and if you have large plates (like we do) you eat more, so I use the little plates now. kind of surprising
