The DI intercooler cost as much as the Banks/Spearco intercooler. I was talking about the stock 6.0 intercooler that cost about $500. 00. The intercooler I have now on my truck is doing a good job, but was trying to increase hp without the aid of a chip/tuner (Dp). I have a banks transcom currently on my tranny and it's doing a great job. I installed the trancom last year with the "banks six gun". I want to buy a Dp Tuner next, but I heard that I would need a BTS/ John Wood Valve body. IF I already have the "Six Gun & Transcom installed would really need the valve body? I understand that I'm going off subject, but you guys have been helpful so for. The Six gun is doing a good job (Egt, Boost, Fuel), I need something with a little more kick. What do you guys suggest?
You won't increase HP by adding the 6.0 intercooler. If you want to increase HP your gonna need a chip or programer. I would call as see what the tuner thinks about the trans command & their chip/programs. IIRC the trans command electronically increases line pressure to firm up the shifts. Tuners can do this with there programs also. But from what I have learned from others is that in the long run it is better for the life of the tranny to do this maunually by upgrading the valve body. Can you keep the trans-command? Sure, but let the tuner know so they can adjust the programs accordingly or guide you in the right direction.
The airbags made a big difference pulling our 5th wheel camper. Took the bouncing/shake out of the crapppy Oklahoma roads. I didn't say anything to my family when I installed them before leaving on a camping trip to South Dakota. About an hour into the trip my wife asked me if they fixed the roads or did I do something to the truck (again).
Thanks thats what I thought it would do.Now I just have to talk my brother-in-law out of his sitting in his shop,LOL.
this air ride system are you talking all four courners ( KELDERMAN.COM)
or just bags my old boss just did the kelderman set up . hauling his LANCE,pulling 18ft car trailer w/the LJ (RUBICON) the razor (sidebyside)he say's it nice w/air
Im thinking of air ride as well but only up front! My springs are sagging a bit. I dont do a lot of towing and more interested in helping those springs out and possibly getting a lil better ride from them...does that sound crazy?!

What condition are your shocks in? The stock ones ussually do not last very long.
You get absolutely NO LIFT AT ALL unless there is air in them. You must also keep at least 5-10 pounds in them at all times or you can damage the bags. If I air up the back on my truck, I can lift it over 2 inches easy.

If the weight of the truck is not setting on compressed bags which it should never be you don't need any ait at all in them
To the original poster. If you have sway problems, a rear sway bar would be the first or second thing to install. What type of shock do you have? Bilsteins are expensive, but I've never heard of a single complaint (except for price). Shocks and sway bar would be my first installs, then perhaps air bags. As for pressure in them, the firestone airbags I had on a pickup claimed you needed to keep 5psi in them. I suppose this was in case you hit some bumps, this would keep them from bottoming out.
If you're experiencing hesitation problems, that is a totally seperate issue. Not related to suspension.
