Rewiring cab, need connectors

Were can I get the connectors from the cab harness that goes out to the firewall to connect to the engine bay wiring harness's?
Rebuild the originals? who has the connectors? Cut and splice wires and use the original connectors?
Cut the firewall to accept a newer style ?

Did you check the Turn signal switch under the steering wheel? thats where my brake light problem was. Brake light wires run through it,the wire that provides power

I haven’t been home before dark all this week so there has been no chance to take pictures… I will get some pictures taken of the odd truck tomorrow and get them posted (if I can figure out how to). Who ever bought this truck must have tricked it out just how they wanted it, and they were willing to spend some money. One more question… are the spring perches in a different location on a 4x4 verse a 2x4, I guess I would assume so. if they are in a deferent location on the frame would the aftermarket company rivet them back in to the new locations, or bolt them in??? <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>

I dont quite understand the question about locating spring perches.I have lowered a couple trucks buy replacing the spring hangers.I think this is what you mean buy perches. They are riveted in by the factory. When you get aftermarket kits you cut the rivets out to remove the hangers and bolt the new ones back on.
If someone moved the spring mounting locations, there has been some serious suspension mods. But I am not a 4x4 kinda guy

That is prolly were the prob was.I forgot about that before I started this deal.Could'nt find anything wrong in the wiring in there afterwards. It was probably in the connectors since it had a newer type T/S switch with the different colored wires

I had a brake light that wouldn't workd and found that the firewall pass through connector had rusted that particular connection apart. Most of the rest of them were ready to disonnect themselves too.
