Oil analysis shows problem
I apreciate all comments whether I agree with them or not. I wish I had a few pages worth!
I did run the factory fill for 8000km (5000mi) so it did have dino for some break in. I also did run it through a break in procedure when it was new running it up to redline and then unloaded down to idle again (its suppose to help seat the rings). I consider the truck more "taken care of" than "babied", I was 29 when I bought it! It has seen a few steep long hills with the cruise control locked on as I understand what you mean about running them being healthy for it.
I am hearing from another on BITOG to give it more time because it is break in wear still. What is bothering me about that is Aluminum, Tin and Lead are all below universal averages so piston and bearing wear are below normal and they are softer than steel. So whatever is wearing is likely a steel on steel component (maybe something like the timing gears, cam or valvetrain, oil system) and they are all insensitive to engine load.
I do hope everyone is right about this and it will go away! Next UOA will show I guess. Keep throwing ideas out there guys!
