Why the intrest in a 5R?
Just for the extra gear?
Its why its not on my list.

I want a 5r100 for the next gear yes, plus I just plain like it behind the 6.er's and I would like it behind my 7.3. Nothing special really other then the benefit of another gear and my personal desire. Alotta guys don't like it and say its junk but so was my E40D before I had it built, lol. Everything is junk from the factory when your throwin 250+ additional HP at it over stock. I am waiting to hear from Destroked.com. If I do it, Im gonna have Tadd from Elite Diesel set the TCM up for me and I'll have ATS build the tranny. Should be a fun little deal. I will be the first to do this as far as I know( which secretively is another reason I want to do it

Yeah I was tired of eating trannies so I did in the end what I should'a done in the beginning and just bought a full out built tranny and I've never looked back nor do I worry about eating this thing up with anything I throw at it. Im a happy customer!
